axon (above) used during community meetings by residents of Mildred Hailey to record issues, preferences, and future visions for the site. plans + simplified sections (below), compiled from Excel sheets provided by the Boston Housing Authority in order to gain a baseline understanding of how units had been renovated, expanded, and changed over time.
site visits were conducted on a weekly basis to confirm unit layouts and record conditions of all kitchens and bathrooms. we discussed issues residents were having and visited 60% of all units in the development. examples of unit plans are below.
